Auch wenn in dieser Abhandlung, ein Gesamtberblick ber smtliche Belohnungskomponenten gegeben wird, liegt ein Schwerpunkt auf LongTerm Incentives in Form von aktienbasierter Vergtung, da diese in der Praxis die bevorzugte Form einer erfolgsorientierten Vergtung darstellt.10 Steuerliche Aspekte und die bilanzielle Behandlung von Mitarbeiterbeteiligungen werden dagegen wegen des begrenzten Umfangs der Diplomarbeit nicht behandelt.11 Um das Humankapital als wichtigsten Erfolgsfaktor bzw. Werttreiber identifizieren zu knnen, werden im zweiten Kapitel zunchst die besonderen Charakteristika der New Economy und junger Wachstumsunternehmen zusammengefasst. Anschlieend wird im dritten Kapitel anhand der PrincipalAgentTheorie und einer Auswahl der bedeutendsten Motivationstheorien die Notwendigkeit eines wert bzw. leistungsorientierten Anreizsystems theoretisch belegt. Darauf aufbauend werden in Kapitel vier die besonderen Anforderungen an ein Anreiz und Vergtungssystem unter Bercksichtigung der speziellen Ziele eines Wachstumsunternehmens strukturiert. Danach werden in Kapitel fnf ausgewhlte Komponenten monetrer und nonmonetrer Anreizinstrumente vorgestellt und auf ihre Effektivitt in bezug auf die Zielsetzung untersucht, um auf den zentralen Aspekt dieser Abhandlung die optimale Ausgestaltung des Vergtungssystems hinzufhren.
