Es werden zunchst einheitliche Produktmerkmale von Covered Bonds erlutert, sowie deren Historie und Marktgegebenheiten vorgestellt. Schlielich werden die verschiedenen Gesetzesgrundlagen sowie die immobilienmarktspezifischen Traditionen der einzelnen Lnder durchleuchtet und deren Auswirkungen auf die Sicherheit bzw. Bonitt des Produkts dargestellt. Schlielich wird das Thema umgeschwenkt in Richtung Preisentstehung und bildung. Darauf aufbauend erfolgt eine empirische Analyse, inwieweit Marktgegebenheiten die Preisbildung beeinflussen. Zum Abschluss erfolgt eine Regression, in der produktspezifische Merkmale auf ihre Preiseinflussrelevanz getestet werden.
