Die spezifischen Merkmale wissensintensiver Dienstleistungen, wie dem Rechts und Gesundheitswesen, den Finanzdienstleistungen, EDVDienstleistern und der Beraterbranche verlangen jedoch aufgrund einiger Besonderheiten eine spezifische Betrachtung, da hier nicht nur konomische berlegungen eine Rolle fr die Internationalisierung spielen, sondern auch soziale Aspekte. Diese werden mit zunehmender Unabhngigkeit von ffentlichen Interessen und damit von staatlicher Kontrolle bedeutender, da die Branche damit immer undurchsichtiger und strker von konomischen Gedanken geleitet wird. Diese Arbeit beschftigt sich mit der Internationalisierung der Unternehmensberatung als einer sehr undurchsichtigen und unabhngigen Branche, in der auftretende Probleme strker ins Auge fallen als bei anderen wissensintensiven Dienstleistungsbranchen. Die Konzentration auf Europa soll dabei einen relativ jungen und in viele nationale Einzelteile zersplitterten Markt zeigen und vor allem die wenigen sehr groen USamerikanischen Unternehmen auerhalb der Betrachtung halten. Nach einer kurzen Erklrung der Unternehmensberatung als Dienstleistungsbranche (Kap. 1) wird ber die Entwicklung und die Lnderanteile des europischen Beratermarktes (Kap. 2) die Hinfhrung zur Erforschung der Ursachen, Strategien und Probleme der Internationalisierung von Unternehmensberatungen (Kap. 3) vorgenommen.
