Daher ist es wichtig die Zeichensetzung gut zu beherrschen, um eigene Texte verstndlich zu machen und sie fr den Lesenden gut zu gliedern. Dennoch tun sich Schler/innen wie auch Erwachsene beim richtigen Einsatz der Satzzeichen immer noch schwer. Zwlf Satzzeichen besitzt die deutsche Schriftsprache, welche jeweils einen unterschiedlichen Schwierigkeitsgrad vorweisen. Das Komma ist dabei der Vorreiter. Herrmann und Schreinert stellten bei einer Studie von 1974 fest, dass 47,8 % der Fehler von Schlern/innen der Klasse 10 Interpunktionsfehler sind. Diese Hausarbeit soll einen berblick ber die Interpunktion und ihre Funktion geben. Die zwlf Satzzeichen werden beschrieben und ihre Funktion erlutert. Hierbei werden sie in die Kategorien Satzschlusszeichen, Satzmittezeichen und paarige Satzzeichen unterteilt. Zuvor steht jedoch ein Einblick in die Geschichte der deutschen Interpunktion. Ein Auge soll hierbei auf die nderung der Funktion der Interpunktion geworfen und der Frage nachgegangen werden, ob die Interpunktion von Anbeginn die gleiche Aufgabe verfolgt
