This book uses a topdown approach to introduce readers to the SPICE simulator. It begins by describing techniques for simulating circuits, then presents the various SPICE and OrCAD commands and their applications to electrical and electronic circuits. Lavishly illustrated, this new edition includes even more handson exercises, suggestions, sample problems, and circuit models of actual devices. It is an ideal supplement for courses in electric or electronic circuitry and is also a solid professional reference.

I found the book useful for basic understanding, but it could go deeper into advanced topics. The sections on PSpice were good, but I was hoping for more complex examples. Still, it's a solid introduction for anyone new to electronics.

Great resource for beginners!
As a student new to circuit design, this book has been incredibly helpful. The explanations are clear, and the step-by-step instructions for using Orcad made my learning experience enjoyable. I especially liked the practical examples—they made it easier to grasp the concepts.

Pages arrived damaged, but content is good
The content of the book is solid, although I was disappointed when it arrived with some bent pages. I had to flatten them out, which was annoying. But once I got into it, the explanations of PSpice were helpful, so I’ll stick with it for now.
