Die menschliche Handlungsmacht in Wissenschaft und Technik stellt die grssten Anforderungen an die moderne Ethik. Diese jedoch ist in eine Begrndungskrise geraten. Die vorliegende Arbeit versucht daher ein Doppeltes: zum einen aufzuweisen, dass die Frage nach einer Wissenschaftsethik umfassender in Richtung auf eine Ethik fr das wissenschaftliche Zeitalter gestellt werden muss, zum anderen einen vielbeachteten Entwurf, Das Prinzip Verantwortung von Hans Jonas, einer Kritik zu unterziehen. Die Unableitbarkeit des Sollens aus dem Sein akzeptierend, wird abschliessend der Entwurf einer Ethik umrissen, die in der Intuition die traditionelle Gewissensentscheidung und im Modell ein Verfahren der Gewissensbildung vorstellt.
