El objetivo principal de la investigacin cualitativa con enfoque etnogrfico crtico, es investigar qu piensan, sienten los actores curriculares del contexto de Educacin Superior de Bogot, Colombia, acerca de la autonoma. La investigacin con enfoque etnogrfico no desarrolla un marco terico, sino una teora gua. Los resultados ms relevantes son: Los actores curriculares definen autonoma como el poder de realizar sus propias actividades, ya sea por un inters particular o para realizar las decisiones de otros. Las relaciones pedaggicas en el aula de clase enriquecen los procesos de autonoma. El poder obstaculiza el proceso de autonoma. Las formas de sentir de los actores curriculares son: Molestia, ofuscacin, frustracin, al no poder tomar decisiones en lo relacionado con la flexibilidad curricular. Las acciones que orientan los estudiantes y profesores, son establecer comunicacin con las directivas de la institucin o sus jefes inmediatos. Muchos resultados de estos dilogos son infructuosos, no son escuchados y la accin posterior es olvidarse del asunto y proseguir en el mundo acadmico.
