I bought the Flame Tree edition of Irish Ghost Stories as a gift for my daughter. She loves folklore and this book did not disappoint! The illustrations are beautiful and the stories are just the right mix of eerie and intriguing. It’s perfect for cozy reading nights.

Interesting Stories but Lacking Depth
The collection of Irish ghost stories has some great tales, but I found a few to be a bit surface-level. The Flame Tree Collectors edition is gorgeous, but I was hoping for more extensive folklore analysis. Still, it’s decent for casual reading on a rainy day.

Came with a Tear in the Cover
I was excited to dive into these ghost stories but unfortunately, my copy arrived with a tear on the cover. The stories seem interesting, but I was really let down by the condition of the book. I’ll have to see if I can get a replacement.
