Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2010 im Fachbereich Medien / Kommunikation Film und Fernsehen, Note: 5 (schweizer Notensystem), Universitt Zrich (Filmwissenschaftliches Seminar), Veranstaltung: Ironische Erzhlungen, ironische Bilder: Ironie im Film, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: THE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY (Garth Jennings, USA/GB 2005) ist ein Musterbeispiel fr ein transmediales Werk: Die erste Version der Geschichte produzierte der Autor Douglas Adams fr BBC Radio 4 im Jahr 1978. Es folgte eine Buchversion (1979), weitere Radioprogramme, vier Fortsetzungsromane, eine Fernsehserie, ein Computerspiel und 2005 eine Kinoverfilmung, die im Zentrum dieser Arbeit stehen wird. Aufgrund der Flle an Versionen, in denen The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy existiert und deren Bezugnahme auf andere Texte und Kunstwerke, bietet sich eine transtextuelle Herangehensweise im Sinne Genettes (1982/1996) bei der Frage nach der Produktion von Ironie und ihrer Funktionsweise in diesem Werk, besonders an. Die Transtextualitt wird neben der Ebene der Dialoge und der Handlung auch in den Bildern an sich thematisiert. So wandelt das Raumschiff, mit dem die Protagonisten unterwegs sind, whrend des Fluges durch die Galaxis immer wieder die Gestalt und mit ihm die Charaktere. In diesem Musterbeispiel exemplifiziert sich der spielerische Humor des Filmes, der in seiner Konstruktion und Wirkung auf eine ironische Rezeptionshaltung abzielt, hnlich Sontags (1982) Konzept zur Rezeption von 'Camp'.
