Nach mehrjhriger Praxis als Lehrerin und dreiundzwanzigjhriger Ttigkeit als Pfarrsekretrin ist sie seit Oktober 2003 im Ruhestand. Sie schreibt seit ihrem zwlften Lebensjahr, zumeist humorvoll oder ironisch, in Form von Tagebucheintrgen, Prosa und Mundartgedichten oder gereimter Lyrik. Zudem verfasst sie seit 2005 wchentlich eine Kolumne fr das Internetforum keinVerlag.de. Seit ihrem fnften Lebensjahr ist sie behindert nach Kinderlhmung und seit 2003 Rollstuhlfahrerin. Ihr Handicap ist ihr allerdings weniger eine Last, als eine Mglichkeit, das Leben trotzdem als schn und lebenswert zu empfinden und ihren Gedanken Flgel zu verleihen.
