Das richtige Wissen ber die Informationstechnik sowie dessen effiziente Verwendung spielen in Unternehmen im Rahmen von Globalisierung und eines immer mehr dynamisch werdenden Wettbewerbs eine immer wichtigere Rolle. Nur diejenigen Unternehmen, die mit Hilfe ihrer IT innovative Geschftsprozesse entwickeln und unternehmensweit nutzen, haben die Chance in ihrer Branche zu dominieren. Nach einer aktuellen Umfrage des Karrieredienstes Experteer sehen deshalb rund zwlf Prozent der befragten Manager neben emotionaler Intelligenz, interkultureller Kompetenz und Fremdsprachen vor allem ITKenntnisse als eine wichtige Kernkompetenz an . Angesichts dieser Entwicklung fragen sich viele Fhrungskrfte ber welches ITWissen sie in unserer heutigen von Informationstechnik geprgten Welt verfgen mssen und mit Hilfe welcher Methoden und Vorgehensweisen sie dieses am effizientesten erlernen knnen. Um diese Fragen zu beantworten werden im Rahmen dieser Arbeit im Kapitel 2 zuerst die Begriffe Informationstechnologie, Fhrungskraft sowie Wissen und Wissensmanagement definiert. Im Kapitel 3 werden Kriterien zur Klassifikation von ITAnforderungen vorgestellt und das geforderte ITWissen von Fhrungskrften letztendlich anhand dieser Parameter aufgegliedert.
