I bought this for my niece who's just getting into jazz piano. While the content is excellent, some sections feel a bit too advanced for her level. She still enjoys practicing with it, but a more beginner-friendly version would have been nice. Overall, it’s a solid book.

Great resource for piano enthusiasts
As a jazz lover, I found the material in Jazz Improvisation 4 really engaging! The contemporary styles covered are fresh and inspiring. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and it’s already improved my playing significantly. Definitely worth the investment!

Fantastic book, but shipping was slow
Jazz Improvisation 4 offers some killer insights into contemporary styles. I love how detailed the explanations are! However, I was disappointed with the shipping time; it took almost two weeks to arrive. Still, I’m glad I got it in the end.

Not what I expected
I had high hopes for this piano book based on the description, but it wasn’t quite what I was looking for. The examples felt a bit too complex for my current skill level, and I struggled to keep up. It’s probably great for more advanced players, though!
