Neben der Berufsgruppe der jdischen Juristen waren es vor allem jdische Mediziner, gegen die sich der Antisemitismus in Deutschland ab 1933 zgig und organisiert richtete. Auf der Grundlage oder in Folge des Gesetzes zur Wiederherstellung des Berufsbeamtentums wurden jdische rztinnen und rzte aus staatlichen und stdtischen Einrichtungen entlassen und von den Hochschulen verwiesen. Zahlreiche Verordnungen und Gesetze diskriminierten jdische Medizinerinnen und Mediziner auf vielfltige Weise. Es folgten der Entzug der Kassenzulassung und schlielich der Entzug der rztlichen Approbation. Zahlreiche Betroffene emigrierten, von den in Deutschland verbleibenden jdischen rztinnen und rzten wurden viele deportiert und ermordet.
