The problems with the Bible that New Testament scholar Bart Ehrman discussed in his bestseller Misquoting Jesusand on The Daily Show with John Stewart, NPR, and Dateline NBC, among othersare expanded upon exponentially in his latest book: Jesus, Interrupted. This New York Times bestseller reveals how books in the Bible were actually forged by later authors, and that the New Testament itself is riddled with contradictory claims about Jesusinformation that scholars know but the general public does not. If you enjoy the work of Elaine Pagels, Marcus Borg, John Dominic Crossan, and John Shelby Spong, youll find much to ponder in Jesus, Interrupted.

This book has some fascinating points about inconsistencies in the Bible, but it felt pretty long-winded at times. I appreciated the depth, but I found myself skimming through sections. Still worth a read if you're into theology!

Thought-Provoking Read
'Jesus Interrupted' dives deep into the Bible’s contradictions in a way that makes you think. The author's insights really challenged my previously held beliefs. It’s not your typical religious book, which is refreshing!

Valuable Insights, but Confusing
I really wanted to like 'Jesus Interrupted', but some arguments were hard to follow. The contradictions are there, for sure, but the way they were presented was a bit dense and convoluted for me. Not what I expected!
