In order to be able to train effectively in JiuJitsu, this book has been designed to cover the basic positions, techniques, and combinations required. In almost a thousand stepbystep photographs, the techniques are fully explained so that JiuJitsuka of any standard will be able to follow them and use them. In addition, the reader will learn the basic groundwork of selfdefence, selfdefence against attacks with weapons (stick and knife), as well as attacks using firearms at close range. Another feature of 'JiuJitsu The Basics' are lessons concerning locking, throwing, striking and kicking techniques. 'JiuJitsu The Basics' will not only allow every JiuJitsuka to prepare him/herself effectively for a grading test, it will also provide the trainer with a comprehensive reference book.
