The present work is designed to investigate the impact of types of Peed Patterns, Levels of Need Patterns and types of institutions on job involvement and quality of work life of teachers teaching in Government and Non Government educational institution.The sample was restricted to the some districts of Eastern U.P.(India).The result of the present study indicate that the teachers belonging Govt. educational institutions are more job involved than teachers belonging to Non Govt.educational institutions.The teachers of Govt. educational institutions have scored higher than the teachers of Non Govt. educational institutions on quality of work life.The result reveals that the teachers belonging to above average groups differ significantly on quality of work life.Practical implication of the findings have been made explicit and suggestions for future research have been made.
