This work explores different aspects of intrinsic, extrinsic, general, and facetspecific job satisfaction with respect to different demographical variables. Review of related literature provides sufficient knowledge on job satisfaction meanings, definitions, concepts, measurements, theoretical frameworks, determinants and predictors of job satisfaction as well as a sound ground for the theoretical framework of this work,. The modified long form Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire 1967 with its Urdu translation was used as a research tool in this work. The results put purposeful light on the new horizons of job satisfaction for every discipline of life, especially in the field of education. The recommendations for researchers open the doors for further researches in the field of job satisfaction.
