Product Description Die deutsche Klassik ist von Herder in vielen Feldern mitgestaltet worden, und gemeinsam mit Kants Wirkung ist sein Einflu ein sehr bedeutender Beitrag zur deutschen Kultur aus dem Lande Preuen. An seinen Lebensstationen ist die Umgestaltung der damaligen klassizistischen Auffassungen ablesbar: der Bildungsgang begann bei Kant und Hamann in Knigsberg. Er fhrte dann nach Riga, wo die Stellung Rulands in Europa berdacht wurde. In einer berhmten Seereise nach Frankreich wurden die Grenzen der franzsischen Aufklrung erkannt und bestimmt. Weiter ging es ber Eutin im aufgeklrten Norddeutschland ber das welfische Bckeburg nach Straburg und schlielich nach Weimar. Herders Beitrag bei der Entstehung der Weimarer Klassik wird neu bestimmt, der Humanittsgedanke wird neu durchdacht. Seine Wirkung auf die slavischen Lnder wird umrissen und fr Polen ausgefhrt: sie fhrt hier wie berall zur Bildung eines neuen Nationalgefhls. About the Author Der Autor: HansBernd Harder entstammte einer rulanddeutschen Familie. 1934 geboren, studierte er in Marburg und Berlin slavische und deutsche Philologie sowie Philosophie. Nach Promotion und Habilitation in Frankfurt a.M. wurde er 1967 nach Marburg berufen. Dort wirkte er als Hochschullehrer und Forscher (ber 50 Einzelstudien und Bcher), im Vorstand des J.G. HerderForschungsrates, in der Kulturpolitik der Stadt und als Vorsitzender der Brder GrimmGesellschaft in Kassel. Er starb 1997 bei einem Studienaufenthalt in Moskau.
