This authorized biography, penned by the subjects son, spans Joness entire life from his birth in Newcastle into a family of miners through his WWII service to his years teaching at the Dublin College of Art during the turbulent 1970s. Best known for his artistic gifts, Jones produced intimate sculptures, monumental installations, and meticulous inscriptions. In addition to his novels, he also published a biography of Clough WilliamsEllis and a highly regarded survey of the lakes of north Wales. This book, which includes a range of images of Joness work, offers insight into one of the great Welsh artists.
