Der Journalist von heute muss nicht nur Kenntnisse ber sein Kernmedium besitzen, sondern muss kontinuierlich Knowhow in angrenzenden Medienbereichen aufbauen. Journalistische Weiterbildung muss diesen aktuellen Qualifikationsanforderungen multimedialen Arbeitens gerecht werden und damit den Journalisten eine fundierte Basis fr verbesserte Beschftigungsmglichkeiten bieten. Ein europisches Netzwerk von 12 journalistischen Weiterbildungsinstituten, Akademien, Universitten und sozialen Partnern hat im Rahmen des LEONARDODAVINCI Pilotprojektes TRIMEDIAL ein Weiterbildungskonzept entwickelt, mit dem Journalisten von heute Qualifikationen fr ihre Arbeit von morgen erwerben knnen. Das Weiterbildungskonzept basiert auf Ergebnisse einer explorativen Pilotstudie ""TriMedial Working in European Local Journalism"", in der die aktuelle Arbeitsmarktsituation, Qualifikationsbedarfe und trimediale journalistische Weiterbildungsangebote in Europa analysiert worden sind.
