A woman share her experiences traveling in Tibet, beginning with her personal pilgrimage to meet the 17th Karmapa, the second most revered lama in Tibet, as well as her subsequent travels to this troubled, but beautiful and mysterious country. Original.

I enjoyed the personal reflections in 'A Woman's Pilgrimage', but I felt it could have gone deeper into the political aspects of modern Tibet. The storytelling is good, but I wanted more context about the Karmapa's situation. Worth a read, though!

A Spiritual Journey in Words
This book is an incredible read for anyone interested in Tibet and its culture. The way the author describes her pilgrimage is so moving, and the insights about the Karmapa are enlightening. I couldn't put it down!

A Disappointment on Many Levels
I was really looking forward to this book, but it arrived with a bent cover and the pages felt cheap. Moreover, I found the narrative a bit disjointed and hard to follow. I'm really disappointed with my purchase.

A Mix of Enlightenment and Frustration
While the journey the author describes is fascinating, I found some parts to be a bit repetitive. The book gives a good sense of the spiritual aspects of the Karmapa's exile, but it fell short in some areas. Still, it’s a decent read for those curious about Tibetan culture.
