In dieser Phase des Lebens werden alle psychischen Bereiche eines jungen Menschen erschttert. Stndig auf der Suche nach sich selbst, hin und hergerissen von inneren Krisen, von den Erwachsenen missverstanden, vllig verunsichert, weil man selbst keine Ahnung hat, was man eigentlich will. Diese Arbeit beschftigt sich damit, welche Rolle die Adoleszenzliteratur bei den Jugendlichen einnimmt. Inwieweit kann eine aufgeschriebene Geschichte einen Jugendlichen in dieser schwierigen Phase seines Lebens untersttzen und ihn zum Nachdenken anregen. Zunchst erklre ich die Begriffe 'Adoleszenz' und 'Adoleszenzroman'. Da es zum Thema 'Adoleszenz' ein vielfltiges Angebot gibt, habe ich mich hauptschlich auf die Werke von Blos und Fend konzentriert, die sich beide mit den biologischen, krperlichen und seelischen Vernderungen in der Adoleszenzphase beschftigt haben. Mein Beispielroman ist das Buch von Torill Eide 'stlich der Sonne Westlich des Monds', welches die Jugendzeit eines weiblichen Protagonisten mit vielen unterschiedlichen Problemlagen schildert. Nach einer kurzen Inhaltsangabe soll aufgezeigt werden, welche literarischen Kennzeichen dieses Buch aufweist und anschlieend, wie dieses Buch in der kulturellen Sozialarbeit eingesetzt werden kann.
