Diese Studie basiert auf Bourdieus Lebensstiltheorien und mit Hilfe der kulturvergleichenden Methodik werden folgt gezeigt: 1. der Zustand der Pekinger jugendlichen. 2. ein interkultureller Vergleich zwischen den deutschen und chinesischen Kulturen. Die wichtigsten empirischen Befunde sind wie folgt: Sport ist ein fundamentaler Bestandteil des jugendlichen Lebensstils. Zwischen beiden Nationen berwiegen die Unterschiede hinsichtlich des Sportengagements. Das Sportverstndnis ist geschlechterabhngig und wird jedoch durch die Kultur geprgt. Die Sportartenauswahl beider Jugendgruppen in ihrer Freizeit konnte mit der sozialen Ungleichheit, in Bezug auf Bourdieus Lebensstiltheorie, nicht verknpft werden. Die subjektiven Einflussfaktoren des Sporttreibens sind bei den Jugendlichen geschlechts und altersabhngig. Bourdieus Theorien gilt nur sehr begrenzt fr chinesische Jugendliche. Eher findet die Theorie fr deutsche Jugendliche Anwendung. Die soziale Ungleichheit prgt den Sportkonsum des jugendlichen Lebensstils der Chinesen. Der Sport spielt fr die chinesischen Heranwachsenden, in ihrem psychischen Entwicklungsprozess, scheinbar eine wichtigere Rolle, als fr die deutschen.
