We will look at a book written by the half brother of Jesus, James. #justjames was #jamesthejust who lived what he preached: a just life. James spends five chapters unpacking truths about practical situations that we face in our day to day lives: trials, the tongue, injustice, relationships, and so much more. Just as James learned to live the just life, we, too, want to glean from him how to walk out our faith in the midst of trying times. While this study unpacks the truths of the book of James, it also offers practical Bible Study tips. Sometimes, sitting down with the Bible can feel overwhelming and cause us to be unsure where to begin or how to decipher the nuggets of wisdom found within. Because our number one goal as Teachers in the Word is to get you, a teacher, in the Word, we want to help guide you in knowing how to study Scripture. This study does just that.This study was created by teachers for teachers. Classroom applications abound. This 6week study will be a great way to kick back, relax, and enjoy a cup of coffee with teachers from around the world. As we join each other via teaching videos and in our Facebook Group, we will laugh together, cry together, learn together, and grow together. We promise you that this Bible study is unlike any you've completed. We offer you not only Bible study application, but also classroom applications that can transform the way you interact with your students as you learn to live out your faith as a "doer of the Word," and not just a hearer of the Word. Public school teachers need not be fearful that this study won't apply to them. You will love the community you can find through our active Facebook Group as well. We can't wait to study with you!Study Details: This study is a 6week study. Each week contains 5 study days. There are 7 teaching videos that accompany the study. The links to all videos are found within the study. A leader's guide is also available for those who plan to walk through this study with a group.
