I picked up 'Feminist Folktales from Around the World' by Kamala and it’s been such an enlightening read! Each tale offers a unique perspective on women's roles in various cultures, and I love how they're all so beautifully illustrated. It's perfect for discussions in my book club!

Disappointed with the Quality
I was really looking forward to this book, but when it arrived, some pages were crinkled and the cover was slightly damaged. The content seems engaging, but I would’ve liked it better if it didn’t come in such bad shape. Not sure if I’ll keep it.

Interesting Stories but Some Repetitiveness
The stories in this collection are fascinating and I appreciate the diversity of cultures represented. However, I felt some of the themes were a bit repetitive. Still, it’s a good introduction to feminist narratives from around the world.
