Es una recopilacin de anotaciones que puede considerarse como textos complementarios y que dio inspiracin a su obra cumbre, El Capital (Das Kapital), publicado ocho aos despus. Ediciones Ibricas public la primera versin al castellano en 1933 justo antes de la Guerra Civil Espaola. Miseria de la Filosofa es un polmico libro escrito por Karl Marx, publicado en 1847, donde Marx critica los argumentos econmicos y filosficos dados por PierreJoseph Proudhon en su libro Filosofa de la Miseria (o Sistema de las Contradicciones Econmicas).
