Aus diesem Grund treten immer zahlreicher Hilfen zur Krankenhauswahl im Internet auf, die aber bei den Nutzern oft auf wenig Resonanz stoen. Die vorliegende Arbeit behandelt Kennzahlensysteme als Grundlage von patientenorientierten Qualittsmanagementsystemen, um mgliche Defizite aufzudecken und einen Lsungsvorschlag zu unterbreiten, inwieweit bestehende Systeme optimiert und patientenorientierter gestaltet werden knnten. Durch eine Beschreibung der Gesundheitsbranche und den Herausforderungen zur Patienteninformation sowie theoretischen Darstellungen zu Kennzahlensystemen wird die Basis gelegt. Die Beschreibung und Bewertung aktueller Patienteninformationssysteme ermglicht einen Einblick in die bestehende Situation. Abschlieend werden Kennzahlensysteme als alternative Informationsmglichkeit diskutiert und ein eigenstndiger Lsungsansatz entwickelt. Hierbei wird vor allem untersucht, welche thematischen Bereiche fr Patienten von Relevanz sind, aber auch auf welche Datengrundlagen zurckgegriffen werden kann.
