Die fnfzigjhrige Wirkungsgeschichte der "Allgemeinen Theorie der Beschf tigung, des Zinses und des Geldes" von John Maynard Keynes bildete den An la eines wirtschaftstheoretischen Kolloquiums, das am 23. und 24. Oktober 1986 auf Einladung des Instituts fr Wirtschaftswissenschaft der Rheinisch Westflischen Technischen Hochschule, Aachen, stattfand. Die hier verffentlichten Kolloquiumsbeitrge wurden zum Teil von den Auto ren berarbeitet und ergnzt. Die Reihenfolge entspricht der der Referate des Kolloquiums. Eine besondere Gruppierung der Abhandlungen erschien nicht sinnvoll, da es sich jeweils um selbstndige und abgeschlossene Texte handelt, die nicht direkt aufeinander Bezug nehmen. Die Einleitung beschrnkt sich darauf, die einzelnen Beitrge kurz vorzustellen, ohne da Verbindungen zwischen ihnen hergestellt oder Unterschiede in dem jeweiligen Zugang zur Theorie Keynes' herausgehoben werden. Unvoll kommenheiten, mgliche Irrtmer oder falsche Gewichtung von Thesen und Ar gumenten in der einleitenden Prsentation der Aufstze sind ausschlielich vom Herausgeber zu verantworten. Den Autoren sei fr die Bereitschaft gedankt, ihre Referate der Verffent lichung verfgbar zu machen. 4 EINLEITUNG Das Interludium der monetaristischen Wirtschaftspolitik scheint sich in der zweiten Hlfte der 1980er Jahre seinem Ende zuzuneigen. Damit drfte auch die monetaristische Theorie an schulbiIdendem Einflu verlieren. Ob damit allerdings auch eine Rckkehr des Keynesianismus als wirtschaftspolitischer Orientierungslehre verbunden sein wird, lt sich noch nicht erkennen. Sollte eine wirtschaftspolitische KeynesRenaissance eintreten, so drfte allerdings sicher sein, da es sich um einen Keynesianismus neuer Prgung handeln wird, und zwar in zweifacher Hinsicht.
