Diesen Sprachen wird man eher gerecht, wenn man den transnumeralen Status ihrer Substantive bercksichtigt, der keine SingularPluralOpposition im indoeuropischen Sinn impliziert. Am Beispiel des Koreanischen und im typologischen Vergleich wird eine Technik Transnumerus aufgebaut. Der Transnumerus steht einerseits im Kontrast zum kollektiven Plural und ist andererseits kompatibel mit der fr asiatische Sprachen typischen Numeralklassifikation. About the Author Die Autorin: Barbara Unterbeck wurde 1951 in Lieberose geboren. Sie studierte Sinologie und Anglistik an der HumboldtUniversitt zu Berlin und promovierte am Zentralinstitut fr Sprachwissenschaft. 1991 Sonderforschungsstipendium der Alexander von HumboldtStiftung. Seit 1992 Mitarbeiterin im neugegrndeten Forschungsschwerpunkt Allgemeine Sprachwissenschaft, Universalienforschung und Typologie in Berlin.
