About the Author Moritz Jacobi wurde 1986 in Berlin geboren und studierte von 20052008 Europische Ethnologie und Regionalstudien/Asienwissenschaften an der HumboldtUniversitt zu Berlin. Nach journalistischen Auslandsreisen in Malaysia, Indonesien, und Singapur setzte er sein Studium von 20082011 im Fach Kulturwissenschaft fort, wo er 2011 bei Hartmut Bhme und Natascha Adamowsky abschloss. In dieser Zeit entwickelte sich zustzlich sein fachliches Interesse an kologischsozialen Themenfeldern, auch inspiriert durch die Mitarbeit am, von Georg Toepfer publizierten, Historischen Wrterbuch der Biologie (Metzler Verlag). Seither arbeitet er als freier bersetzer und Lektor fr zahlreiche Unternehmen und schreibt als Autor der Reisehandbuchreihe Stefan Loose an den Titeln 'Indonesien', 'Malaysia, Singapur und Brunei' sowie 'Bali und Lombok' mit.
