Diese Art der Medien knnen teilweise ltere Medien wie zum Beispiel die Zeitung oder das Buch ersetzen bzw. ergnzen. Deshalb wird aufgezeigt, wie sich Kinder und Jugendliche in der neuen Welt zurechtfinden, wie sie lernen, mit ihr umzugehen und das Richtige vom Falschen zu unterscheiden. Auch die Interaktion im Internet spielt dabei eine groe Rolle spielen, besonders vor dem Hintergrund des Quadrates der Nachricht von SCHULZ VON THUN und der Theorie von GOFFMANN. Es macht sich erforderlich, einige grundstzliche soziologische Begriffe zu erlutern, die notwendig sind, um das Aufwachsen von Kindern und Jugendlichen zu beschreiben, um davon abgeleitet Thesen ber die virtuelle Welt der Kinder und Jugendlichen in den neuen Medien aufzustellen und zu untersuchen.
