Die vorliegende Arbeit schafft einen Vergleich der beiden Lnder Rumnien und sterreich im Hinblick auf ihre spezifischen Unterschiede im Bereich des jeweiligen Kommunikationsmarktes. Der Fokus liegt hierbei in der Beleuchtung der Entwicklung der Medienlandschaft beider Lnder und der kulturellen Unterschiede, die den Werbemarkt beeinflussen. The ongoing globalisation and the contact with new, foreign cultures has, especially in the domain of communications, led to an increased necessity to deal with intercultural and country specific peculiarities. This thesis compares the specific differences on the communications markets of the two countries Romania and Austria. The focus thereby is directed on the evolution of the media landscape and the cultural distinction of both countries that influence the advertising market.
