Inhalt der Dissertation ist eine Methodik fr die Modellierung des kontextadaptiven Verhaltens von Anwendungen im Ambient Assisted Living, welche durch einen zentralen Kontextserver als Werkzeug untersttzt wird. Eine besondere Problemstellung ist dabei die Untersttzung des Endnutzers, der das kontextadaptive Verhalten einer Anwendung nachvollziehen und selbst bestimmen knnen muss. Unterschiedliche Abstraktionsstufen verbinden in einem Metamodell die technischen Sichten mit einer solchen Endnutzersicht. Zudem fgt sich die Methodik in die Phasen gngiger Softwareentwicklungsprozesse ein. Diese werden durch dedizierte Reprsentationsformen des Kontextmodells, sowie durch geeignete Werkzeuge untersttzt.
