Einleitung In der vorliegenden Arbeit soll untersucht werden, inwieweit die sowjetische Politik unter der Herrschaft Stalins eine Abkehr von der Politik seines Vorgngers W. I. Lenin darstellt bzw. inwieweit eine Fortfhrung dieser Politik betrieben wird. Hierbei wird sich exemplarisch auf drei Themenfelder jeweils der Leninra und der Zeit der Herrschaft Stalins bezogen: Die Wirtschaftspolitik, die Terrorpolitik und die Machtmonopolisierung. Hierbei wird sich jeweils auf die Zeitraum zwischen 1917 und 1941 bezogen. Es sollen sowohl die Punkte herausgestellt werden, die Kontinuitt in der Politik der beiden Staatsfhrer aufweisen, als auch die Punkte, die eine Neuerung stalinistischer Politik im Vergleich zur Politik Lenins darstellen. Gerade in groen Teilen der ffentlichen Meinung wird das Bild vertreten, das Stalin als den brutalen sowjetischen Diktator darstellt, der das Land mit Terror berzogen und den Menschen mit einer ausbeuterischen Wirtschaftspolitik jegliche Grundlage des berlebens genommen hat. Diese Behauptung regt dazu an, zu untersuchen, inwieweit es bereits whrend der Herrschaft Lenins Elemente des Terrors, von zentral gelenkter Wirtschaftspolitik mit seinen Folgen fr die Bevlkerung und Elemente der Machtmonopolisierung gegeben hat. Hierbei mssen die Ziele Lenins bercksichtigt werden, die er vielleicht nicht verwirklichen konnte, die aber evtl. Stalin durch seine Politik verwirklicht haben knnte. Aber auch die Brche und Neuerungen der stalinistischen Politik im Vergleich zur Leninra mssen aufgezeigt werden, um ein mglichst differenziertes Bild darstellen zu knnen.
