Jede Alltagsbewegung und auch sonst alle motorischen Bewegungen mssen erst gelernt, stabilisiert und automatisiert werden, damit der Mensch diese Bewegungsschablonen" im Gehirn abrufen kann. Koordinative Fhigkeiten sind folglich unabdingbar fr die Prozesse der Bewegungssteuerung. Die menschliche Bewegungskoordination ist beispielsweise unabdingbar fr eine gute Unfallprophylaxe. Vorhersehbare sowie nicht vorhersehbare Bewegungssituationen knnen bewltigt und komplexe Alltagsaufgaben verrichtet werden. Einen hohen Stellenwert haben koordinative Fhigkeiten besonders im Sport, in Bezug auf das Erlernen und Verbessern von taktischen und technischen Fertigkeiten. Situationsbedingte Bewegungen knnen, auch unter Zeitdruck mhelos angepasst werden. Im Kapitel 2 werden alle fr das Thema erforderlichen, theoretischen Grundlagen im Bereich Sportmotorik und menschlicher Ontogenese vorgestellt. Ebenso beinhaltet es die Auseinandersetzung mit aktuellen Theoriemodellen der koordinativen Fhigkeiten. Die einzelnen Fhigkeiten werden vorgestellt. Das Kapitel 3 beschftigt sich darauffolgend mit der Erfassbarkeit von koordinativen Fhigkeiten. Verschiedene MotorikTestreihen und anwendbare Testverfahren fr den Schulsport werden vorgestellt und kritisch betrachtet.
