[...] Um die Kostenrechnung fr den Krankenhaussektor beurteilen zu knnen, mssen zunchst die Rahmenbedingungen erlutert werden. Im ersten Kapitel wird dem Leser daher einfhrend die Struktur der Krankenhausversorgung nher gebracht. Die beteiligten Institutionen und Personengruppen werden mit den bestehenden Leistungsbeziehungen vorgestellt und erlutert. Bei der Finanzierung von Krankenhusern muss zwischen den Investitionen und den laufenden Betriebskosten unterschieden werden (duale Finanzierung). Dieses Konzept, die bisherige Entlohnung und die Neuerungen im Finanzierungsbereich werden im zweiten Kapitel aufgezeigt. Dabei gilt ein besonderes Augenmerk der grundlegenden Struktur und Systematik der DRGs. Im dritten Kapitel, dem Hauptteil der Arbeit, wird die traditionelle bzw. klassische Kostenrechnung mit der Kostenarten und Kostenstellenrechnung auf Ihre Zweckmigkeit unter den neuen Bedingungen beleuchtet. Die Untersuchung der in der Industrie blichen dritten Stufe der Kostenrechnung, die Kostentrgerrechnung, ist der logisch folgende Schritt.
