Ein ganzheitlicher Gesundheitsbegriff schliet neben dem physischen auch das psychische und soziale Wohlbefinden des Menschen ein. Durch die Schaffung von menschengerechteren Organisationen kann nicht nur die Leistungs und Konkurrenzfhigkeit der Organisationen an sich erhht werden, sondern letzlich liegt auch der Schluss nahe, dass auf diese Weise ein Wandel hin zu einer menschengerechteren und humaneren Gesellschaft erfolgen kann. Bei "menschengerechteren Organisationen" handelt es sich nicht um ein realittsfremdes gedankliches Konstrukt. Es geht hier vielmehr darum, einen Ausgleich zwischen organisationalen und individuellen Interessen zu schaffen, also um die Bercksichtigung nicht nur rein konomischer Ziele im Rahmen betriebswirtschaftlicher Betrachtungen.
