Das Buch stellt eine Dokumentation der Kreuzer NRNBERG dar. Es werden die deutschen Kreuzer NRNBERG I, II und III sowie der sowjetische Kreuzer ADMIRAL MAKAROW (ex NRNBERG) behandelt. Zum Inhalt gehren die Bug und Turmwappen, die Schiffs und Personaldaten, die technischen Daten sowie das Aussehen zu verschiedenen Zeiten mit neuen Skizzen der Tarnanstriche. Insgesamt sind 57 Seiten Skizzen und 145 Fotos (auch von Modellen) enthalten. Es wird ber die Ausrstungen von 1935/36 und 1944/45 berichtet. Alle Vernderungen zwischen 1935 und 1945 werden gesondert aufgefhrt. Gezeigt werden auch Abteilungs und Spantenplne von 1939 und Decksplne von 1942. Weiter wird berichtet ber die technischen Daten der Bewaffnung, der FunkmeOrtungs und Beobachtungsgerte, der Beiboote und der Bordflugzeuge. Eine Liste der Admirale, des Schiffsstabes und der Offiziere des Kreuzers NRNBERG III von 1935 bis 1945 ist beigefgt. Ferner sind die Lebenslufe der oben erwhnten Kreuzer mit Hafenskizzen aufgefhrt. Der grte Teil der Fotos ist in einem Kapitel Bilddokumentation" zusammengefat.
