Die Kultursoziologie von Pierre Bourdieu wird aus diskurstheoretischer Sicht kritisiert: Bourdieus Analyse des Sprechens gesteht der diskursiven Praxis keine Eigengesetzlichkeit in der sozialen Konstruktion lebensstilbezogener Wertigkeiten kultureller Genres zu. Insbesondere die Diskurstheorie von Michel Foucault kann dieses Defizit ausgleichen. Sie wird in der vorliegenden Untersuchung an die Bourdieusche Theorie vermittelt, um fr eine diskurstheoretisch fundierte Sozialstrukturanalyse einen empirischen kultursoziologischen Ansatz zu entwickeln.
