Este libro aborda algunas de las principales cuestiones de la tica de nuestro tiempo a travs de tres perspectivas. La primera (Paradigmas) considera los dos modelos cruciales de la tica occidental: el griego y particularmente el aristotlico y el moderno, y de modo especial el kantiano. La segunda (Fronteras) estudia la relacin de la tica con disciplinas afines, bien procedan de las ciencias humanas (Psicologa, Sociologa, Antropologa), bien de la filosofa de la praxis misma (Poltica, Religin). La tercera (Problemas) analiza cuestiones recurrentes en la reflexin tica (la fundamentacin, lo justo y lo bueno, la virtud) y campos de vigoroso desarrollo en nuestros das, como la tica aplicada o el feminismo, abrindose a nuevos horizontes en un impulso utpico al que la tica no debiera renunciar aunque haya de asumirlo crticamente.
