Aprs des tudes universitaires Bruxelles, il a fait de la recherche et a enseign en Afrique de l'Ouest. Collaborateur la RTBF, il fut producteur des missions Idem, Opra et criture. crivain confirm, il est notamment l'auteur de plusieurs romans au Seuil : Chat noir laqu (collection Fiction & Cie, 1996), Ombres sur une piscine jaune (collection Fiction & Cie, 2000), et Ville sanguine (collection Fiction & Cie, 2003). Il vit entre Bruxelles et Antibes.
