Ms que un estudio etnogrfico sobre indgenas urbanos, es un intento de entender la construccin de la nacin latinoamericana mediante la existencia de la otredad que hizo posible la justificacin ideolgica de la nacin en Amrica Latina: los pueblos indgenas.
