Comme pour lui porter un coup fatal, la dfense des cultures 'rgionales' s'inscrit aujourd'hui dans l'cart entre les fastes des annes Lang et leur faible cho dans la socit.L'auteur prend acte de cette situation pour affirmer que le soutien la cration ne suffit pas. Plus que jamais, il faut inventer une politique de la culture qui saura retisser dans notre pays un vritable lien civique.Claude Patriat, professeur l'universit de Bourgogne, dirige une filire de formation aux mtiers de la culture. Il a publi notamment L'Hrdit en politique (avec JeanLuc Parodi ; Economica, 1992), Eloge de la perturbation (Presse du rel, 1993), ainsi que de nombreux articles sur l'volution de la politique culturelle.
