Analizar la Historia de Vida de Margarita Garca Tovar (MGT) se pudo iniciar al describir la evolucin de la Educacin Ambiental en la UPEL IPC, ya que al revisar documentos y registros para construir esa evolucin encontramos la participacin activa de esta gran docente. Se decidi comenzar con el anlisis evolutivo de la Educacin Ambiental en la UPEL IPC, ya que no existe trabajo alguno que haya agrupado cada uno de los eventos que han contribuido con la consolidacin de la dimensin ambiental en la institucin. La idea no fue analizar exclusivamente que se ha hecho en materia educativo ambiental en la institucin, sino lograr descubrir como se ha garantizado la consolidacin de la dimensin ambiental en la institucin y la proyeccin que ha tenido la misma en el marco de los acuerdos nacionales e internacionales; razn por que se decide escoger a MGT, la cual ha sido protagonista desde el inicio hasta la actualidad de esta evolucin histrica
