El presente texto realiza una propuesta de trabajo metodolgico para las estructuras de direccin del Sector Rural, que contribuya al perfeccionamiento de la excursin docente como forma de organizacin del proceso de enseanza aprendizaje en la asignatura Ciencias Naturales del quinto grado de la Educacin Primaria. Se dirige a fundamentarla desde el punto de vista terico, utilizando como base del conocimiento el entorno escolar, as como su instrumentacin prctica a partir de una estructuracin didctica, lo que posibilita realizar el estudio y las relaciones que se establecen entre los componentes naturales a partir de exploraciones e investigaciones realizadas en las escuelas, a travs de la bibliografa consultada y los intercambios con alumnos, docentes y dirigentes educacionales. Esta propuesta de trabajo metodolgico ofrece una alternativa de fcil acceso y que posee factibilidad. En este sentido, contribuye al desarrollo de la Didctica de la Escuela Primaria, en general, y a la Didctica de las Ciencias Naturales, en particular.
