L'any 1936 va marxar cap a Amrica, on va encarregarse de l'organitzaci de les tournes de la companyia de Margarida Xirgu per gaireb totes les repbliques del continent. El 1939, sense poder tornar a la seva ciutat, va installarse definitivament a Buenos Aires on es va sucidar l'any 1942, als trentados anys.
