Esta tesis doctoral es el resultado de la investigacin realizada en torno a la formacin del gerente social comunitario que lidera los Consejos Comunales ubicados en el Eje Este del Estado Aragua. Se logr abordar desde diversos escenarios, que en conjunto pretendieron generar un constructo sobre los saberes y haceres de este gestor, relatar desde la perspectiva de los actores su cotidianidad y adems conocer y comprender la formacin para gerenciar dichas organizaciones. La investigacin se centra en su mbito cotidiano, utilizando como tcnicas la observacin y la entrevista estructurada. Se abord la investigacin a travs del fundamento que conforman las teoras del construccionismo social y comunitaria, a partir de los diseos cualitativos con el mtodo fenomenolgico, hermenutico, dialctico, reforzndolo con la investigacin interpretativa. La poblacin objeto de estudio estuvo conformada por los informantes claves del eje este del Estado Aragua, en los municipios: Tovar, Bolvar, Jos Flix Rivas, Jos R. Revenga, Santos Michelena.
