Ha publicado seis novelas: La novela del cors (Seix Barral, 1979), que junto a Soldaditos de Pava (1984) y Operacin primavera (1992) forma parte del ciclo titulado La vida de la letra; No puedo vivir sin ti (1995); Romanticismo (2001), con la que obtuvo el Premio de la Crtica, y Nuestra epopeya (2006). Autor de un libro de relatos, Extravos (1999), ha traducido al castellano Sol, i de dol (Solo y dolido, 1993), de J. V. Foix.
