Los tericos de la administracin han creado herramientas como la planeacin estratgica y el cuadro de mando integral, para integrar los factores externos e internos en la planeacin y ejecucin de la estrategia. Por su parte los economistas sealan la importancia de cuantificar la volatilidad y sensibilidad para estimar la curva de produccin y encontrar el equilibrio del productor. Sin embargo la teora contable contina manejando herramientas estticas que no representan la realidad actual de las organizaciones, originando con ello que el tomador de decisiones se enfrente a la divergencia de pensamientos que amenazan el cumplimiento del logro de los objetivos. En este sentido la presente investigacin tiene como objetivo la propuesta de un modelo de Anlisis de Costo Volumen Utilidad que integre las nuevas polticas administrativas producto de un entorno cambiante. Para ello se confrontaron la teora contable y econmica relativa a Produccin, Costos y Equilibrio, determinando que la sensibilidad y volatilidad eran las variables que permitan estimaciones de la curva de produccin con mayor precisin que las estimaciones contables de los costos de produccin.
