Le pre Jandel, Vicaire puis Matre de l'Ordre des frres prcheurs, fut l'homme qui promut et institutionnalisa le courant " observant ", cette drive antilibrale qui avait la prfrence des instances administratives de l'glise et du Pape Pie IX.
